Ke Rollo Esta Semana?

Semana Santa.

With spring nearly approaching, flowers start to bloom; grass grows greener and TV show seasons start back up. Your favorite shows are coming back for another season and some of them have twists and turns no one was expecting. So here’s a little overview on some of the drama happening during primetime.

  • American Idol: Hilarious comedian Ellen DeGeneres joins Simon, Randy and Kara as a judge during Idol’s last season. When the show first made its debut, around 28 million viewers tuned in every week. As with every show, the seasons continued but the viewers did not. Some think that the reasoning of DeGeneres to join the judges is to boost ratings. Maybe they’re right. The premiere of DeGeneres had the ratings soaring around the 28 millions viewers the show originally had. However, you may be thinking what is a comedian doing on a show about singing? Well she herself said “I know what it’s like to stand on stage and try to please an entire room full of people” (Washington Press). That and she is pretty funny. Watch American Idol every Tuesday and Wednesday night around 7pm to see how well Ms. DeGeneres will do as an Idol judge!
  • Keeping up with the Kardashians: Everything seems to be the same at the Kardashian household. More recently, older sisters Kim, Kourtney and Khloe decided to take a mini-road trip to Santa Barbara for some sisterly bonding one last time before Kourtney has her baby. As it would turn out, due to Kourtney’s pregnacy a few activites were spent between Kim and Khloe only. It turned into a cat fight. Nothing was hurt except feelings. Back home, little sisters Kendall and Kylie got into it as well over who should have a modeling career. Then, only brother Rob was crushed when he discovered that his ex-girlfriend Cheetah Girls star Adrienne Bailon has already moved on and found a new man. Such heartbreak and hostility in this upper-society family makes us viewers keep coming back for more! Keeping up with the Kardashians comes on every Sunday at 10:30pm.
