September 24th Homecoming Football Game Preview

Varsity's offensive and defensive linemen take a snap in practice.  Line play will be huge to the team's success against the Titans.

“It’s awesome,” said Dons Varsity Football Coach B.J. Pasquel. “We couldn’t ask for more than to play our biggest rival for homecoming.”

While energy is sure to pulse at Edward Anderson Stadium on September 24th, here are the matchup keys to the Homecoming Night football game.

The Dons will be facing a tough Arcadia Titans team. At press time, the Titans are 2-0 on the season after beating Coconino soundly 26-0. They have a tough defense and a strong offense. Quarterback Cole Richardson (11) passed for 206 yards and against Coconino. The Titans’ also ran the ball for a total of 164 yards on the ground.

Varsity football upsets Seton in final minutes, looks forward to Arcadia

The Coronado Dons football team is looking good this year. The Dons have a 1-2 record after a tough loss to a very strong Cactus football team. The Dons are looking strong this season with many returning players. There are 4 returning players on the offensive side of the ball and 5 returning starters on the defensive side.
