After defeating Portland in the first round of the playoffs they would move on to the second round. The Suns would be playing against all time foes the San Antonio Spurs. On Monday April 3, the Suns defended, scored and ran with everything they had to take a 1-0 lead.
The Spurs were playing the first half without Tony Parker. The Suns took advantage of that to really hit the Spurs hard. San Antonio didn’t give up they kept rallying but it wasn’t enough.
At press time, Game 2 at U.S Airways Center looks to be a very suspenseful, dramatic game as Suns owner Robert Sarver has his team wearing Los Suns Jerseys.
Sarver disagrees with the State Legislature’s controversial 1070 bill and uses this demonstration to really make a point of how important our Latino community is. NBA commissioner David Stern aggrees with this idea, saying, “We think it’s appropriate what the Suns are doing.”
Game 2 was covered and Los Suns won a game against the San Antonio Spurs.
They won much more than that.
