Don’t have a date? No worries; you don’t need one.
Heart shaped boxes of chocolate, a dozen red roses, giant stuffed animals where later they take up space, these are just some of the items given on Valentine’s Day. Another thing associated with V-Day is a date or a significant other.
These aren’t the only things to believe that will make the best valentines day ever. For some other options I have come up with a couple of things you can do to make “the Day of Forced Emotions” better and keep your options open.
1)Go out with friends to see a movie, like The Wolfman is an example if you don’t like this movie you can go to http://www.moviefone.com/new-movie-releases
for a list of movies that are out. After the movie you and your friends can go out to eat, a good place could be In-and-Out or some other
favorite food place. Have fun enjoy being with friends.
2)You can go to the VNSA book sale on February 13th and 14th at the Arizona State Fair grounds their web site is http://vnsabooksale.org/
if you would like more information. they will be selling books, videos, Cd’s, and other items.
3) Another option if you want to meet new people is go to the AZ Valenteen bash at Tempe Market Place in the Stage District. February 13th 6-10:30pm. $3 for singles and $5 a couple.
4) Treat yourself, relax do what you like get a massage or watch your favorite movies at home. Make your own face mask with this recipe

or make silly putty at home with this recipe http://www.funology.com/laboratory/detail.cfm?go=1196
5) Hang out with family, have a family game night play board games like the times when video games, Cell phones, ipods were not
as dominant in our lives as now.
6) Make homemade cookies, here is a website that has different types of cookies http://allrecipes.com/Recipes/Desserts/Cookies/main.aspx
eat them yourself or give them to friends and family. or make a cake or something you love to bake.
7) Go to the Arizona Diamondbacks Fanfest at Chase field on February 13, 10:00am-5:00pm for free. Talk to current and former Diamondback players. For more information go to this website http://mlb.mlb.com/ari/fan_forum/fanfest.jsp
