Summer just isn’t summer unless you’ve got loud music, a hot sun, sticky food, and your best friend. Where better to live it up than Warped Tour?
Warped Tour is an event sponsored by the BMX/skateboarding shoe manufacturer Vans. As for the history? Warped Tour was been rocking the scene since 1994 and has shown up to 100 bands. Music usually ranges between skate punk to post-hardcore, pop punk, and metalcore. This year’s long awaited Vans Warped Tour 2010 is finally coming to town.
On June 29th the All-American Rejects, Alkaline Trio, Motion City Soundtrack, and Sum 41 will shed their glory upon the Cricket Pavilion along with 51 other bands including: Andrew W.K., Enter Shikari, Parkway Drive, Reel Big Fish, We The Kings and even Phoenix, Arizona’s own Eyes Set to Kill and Anarbor. For a list of all the bands playing at this year’s Tour, go to http://www.vanswarpedtour.com/warpedtour/bands.asp.
From 11am to 9pm these bands will be doing their thing and rocking the many stages that come with Warped Tour. They will be selling merchandise and sweet band shirts that we all love to show off. Be sure to get out there and buy your tickets. For presale you can go to http://www.warpedtour.com/presale/index.html.
This is not a year to miss so get your butts out there and enjoy the show.
