On Saturday April 5, juniors and seniors will head out for “A Night in Old Hollywood.”For the first time in ten years, it will be held at a new venue.
Most recently prom was held at Grace Gardens Events Center, but the prom committee wanted to look for a new venue to get the students excited about attending prom.
“I think the Elmont is new and updated space that a lot of people haven’t been to yet. It has beautiful views of the city,” PTSA 3rd VP of Ways and Means, Melissa Ramirez said.
With the venue change, there is also a new experience for students to have a three course dinner at the Elmont Restaurant before the prom begins. The three course meal has various entree options and costs $25 per person. Reservations are required and can be made on opentable.com.

Tickets are currently on sale for $40 each from Feb 18- April 4. You can also purchase tickets at the door for $50. Remember students must show their school ID at the door to gain entry.
All prom guests that do not attend Coronado High school must bring a school or sate ID, entry will be denied to those over the age of 19.
It is essential for everyone to follow the guidelines so they will be let into the prom venue. All guests must remain in the hall upon entry, as there is a strict no re-entry policy. For security reasons, all prom attendees are subject to search upon entry.
To keep the event safe and secure for everyone, small purses (clutch size) are permitted, but backpacks and large bags are not allowed.
We welcome party buses and limos to enhance the prom experience. It is important to remember that all guests must adhere to the EPISD student code of conduct at all times, as this is a school-sponsored event. Non Coronado students or guests must present a form of ID and must be 20 years or younger.
Get fancy for a night of fun, friendship, and memories at prom!
