Super Bowl 60 will feature the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots on Sunday, 4:30pm at Levi’s Stadium in San Francisco, Ca., bringing a rematch of two strong teams.
The Seahawks enter the game with a 14–3 record, earning the top seed in the NFC. Seattle reached the Super Bowl after winning the NFC Championship, beating the Rams 31-27.
The Seahawks came out with the win because of their discipline. The team has relied on balanced scoring, strong pass coverage, and consistent quarterback play throughout the season.
“The Seahawks have a strong defense with an excellent pass defense. They also have a lot of talent, including star rookie safety Nick Emmanwori,” sophomore Santi Orrantia said.
The Patriots also finished 14–3 and won the AFC Championship in a low-scoring defensive battle.
New England’s defense has been one of the best in the league, often forcing turnovers and limiting opponents’ scoring chances. Quarterback Drake Maye led the offense with strong passing numbers during the season and steady leadership in the playoffs.
“In my opinion, I’m a little doubtful about this Patriots offense. Drake Maye got sacked 5 times vs the Broncos and they’ve looked dull these past couple of games,” Senior Lucas Enriquez said.
This Super Bowl is a special rematch of Super Bowl XLIX, where the Patriots defeated the Seahawks in a dramatic game winning interception. Seattle is hoping to even the score while New England is aiming for another championship.
Kickoff is set for Sunday evening and will be streaming on Peacock, YouTube TV, Universo, NFL+, NBC, Sling TV, and Hulu + live TV. The kickoff will begin at 4:30pm.
