After a nearly four-year long hiatus, the renowned K-pop boyband group, BTS, announced a world tour, with the fourth stop being in El Paso’s Sun Bowl Stadium.

BTS is a K-pop boy band with seven members, who have made music in genres like Pop and R&B and have broken numerous world records like becoming the first K-pop group to win American Music Awards’ Artist of the Year.

“BTS coming back is as influential as WWII,” Odalys Ramirez, senior, said.

BTS is embarking on a massive 2026-2027 world tour to mark their grand return as a full group following a nearly four-year hiatus for mandatory South Korean military service, which concluded in 2025.

“I never thought BTS would be back, nor did I think they would come to El Paso. This is like a dream come true”. Senior year student, Camila Ambriz said.

With BTS resuming their activities and doing their first 2026 World Tour, they will be sure to be on the headlines of many more stories.

Ticket prices for Sun Bowl Stadium range between $580 to over $1,000 for seats. Pre-sale tickets are available for ARMY members starting January 22nd, and general admission will be available on January 24th.
